You can take a 30 minute Bus Ride From Old Puerto Vallarta to boca de tomatlan. If you'd rather take a taxi it will charge you about 250 pesos to Boca de tomatlan
Once you are in Boca de Tomatlan call us (322) 223.7315 for a free 5 minute water taxi ride to Ocean Grill or just ask a water taxi in Boca's beach to take you to us, they will charge you 20 pesos for each person.
If you are the sporty type you can also hike from Boca de Tomatlan to Playa Colomitos. The hike is not a walk in the park, so keep that in mind. Also once you are on the trail, follow the white marked trees all along the trail that leads to Las Animas and Colomitos. There are also some scattered wood signs that point you to both places.
The Hike takes about 30 to 40 minutes depending on your physical condition.
